Gallery Art & Events Space represents an unparalleled opportunity for established contemporary artists to present their works in a venue to the standards of their international presence. Already well-known for its antique dealers and high-end galleries, the neighbourhood welcomes a growing number of contemporary art galleries maintaining its position as a dynamic spot with the highest concentration SR of art galleries in the city.
Located in a striking renovated 19th century corner building between Allard and Watteeu street in the heart of the Sablon area, with Brussels' landmark Palais de Justice just footsteps away, the gallery interiors were arranged to open unexpected possibilities.
Thanks to the architectural constraints inherent to a corner building the gallery's lay-out abandons the conventional rectangular spaces challenging artists to exploit a multi-focal approach to the full. The exhibition space encompasses 160m square meter spanning two floors, with a 6m high central space right at the front window as an eye-catcher. SR Gallery Art & Events Space incites visual artists not only to show large scale paintings but facilitates installations or sculptural work as well. It also provides them with intimate spaces for showing works on paper, photography, ceramics or even contemporary jewellery.
The gallery spaces come fully equipped with digital facilities and state-of-the-art lighting. There is also all the infrastructure needed to cater to opening diners, art events, corporate banquets and receptions in an environment, in line with the high standards of the Sablon neighbourhood, and matching the expectations of an international audience of art lovers and connoisseurs.
